The Haywood County Ramblers play traditional mountain music dedicated to honoring the old songs of the Southern Appalachians  a combination of fiddle tunes, Baptist spirituals, square dance hoedowns, traditional ballads and classic old-style country duets. The backbone of the band is composed of the Stuart Brothers, who are world renowned for their masterful fiddle and banjo duets. Taking the helm are Cary Fridley, from traditional old-time band the Freight Hoppers, and Brett Ratliff, both known for their powerful singing and guitar playing.
