This print was designed for the Ponderosa Stomp No.7 in 2008, a great music festival to help perpetuate great music in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the House of Blues! This is a celebration of the unsung heroes of rock n roll. Girl Groups! Pink, red and dark brown inks on white recycled card stock.

Mary Weiss was the 15 year old singer for the Shangri-Las back in the 1965. She is such a sweet lady with a great voice. Think Leader of the Pack & Remember (Walkin' in the Sand.) Her 2007 record had my friends the Reigning Sound as her lovely band and she sings a bunch of their songs too, check it out.
