This fabulous custom set is highly ornamented and the suede skirt is especially impressive. This contemporary suit is by the late Amy Hoban. It is fashioned after vintage cowgirl suits of the 1950s. This was custom made so no size tag but see measurements below. Modern label Amy Hoban/Californiaware. Age 1990s-early 2000? Dry clean only.

SHIRT

The black long sleeve snap front shirt feels like rayon gabardine with decorative candy cane black/white piping & faux pockets & hex pearly snap fasteners. No material tag so not sure of the fabric makeup. This fabulous shirt features chainstitched longhorns on the front yoke, & multicolor stitching under the faux pockets. There are 5 functional hex pearly snaps accented with multicolor chainstitch ornamentation on each cuff - similar stitching on the collar & back yoke.

SKIRT

What a fabulous find!!! The black suede skirt features a double scalloped & dotted white & red leather cutout applique above the bottom hem and the same red creamy leather continues down to form the 4" fringe. 5 incredible chainstitched longhorn heads all the way around the hem alternating with 3 red flowering stylized desert plants all tied together with curly rope & rhinestones to top it off. Back zipper with wide hook at top & nice wide keystone belt loops. The skirt is fully lined. I don't see any flaws or discoloration, both pieces are like new, sold as is. (There are some marks on the waistband from the previous owners closet hanger, but if worn with a belt this wouldn't show & may brush out)
