WOW This AMAZING, ONE OF A KIND custom made vintage women's western parade suit will make you BLING BLING BLING!!! The Newport Tailors custom piece was "exclusively designed for Mrs. C.H. Satterlee" per the tag and is a lovely light yellow buttery color and has a variety of beautiful chain stitched embroidery motifs, removable gold leather fringe and rhinestone accents. Wool gabardine is my guess. No info on Newport Tailors - if you have any let me know.

The shirt on this ensemble has so much detail its hard to know where to look first. The front yoke has two chain stitched horse motifs with varying thread colors like paint by number colors with rhinestone accents along both shoulders and two red chain stitched horseshoes sit below them. The collar has two brown and green? chain stitched horses with rhinestones on each flap and yellow rope piping along the edge. Long gold leather fringe adorns the front & back yokes and sleeves of the shirt. The fringe has brown iridescent snaps along the edge and are all completely removable. The box plate has 6 snap buttons with yellow rope piping. Both sleeves have a large & a small chain stitched horse, as well as a red chain stitched horseshoe with rhinestone accents. The back yoke has a two-toned chain stitched horse and two gray horseshoes with rhinestone accents.

The pants are equally as incredible with alternating chain stitched horses and gray and red horseshoes, all of which are accented with rhinestones. Each keystone belt loop features a gray chain stitched horseshoe with yes, more rhinestones! Yellow rope piping runs along each belt loop and pockets, down to the hem of the pants. Closes with a side metal Conmar zipper and side enclosure. The back and inner thighs are reinforced with a decorative saddle seat that continues down the inside of the legs. The britches are lined with a thin silk cotton feel fabric.

Good Condition but there is normal wear and tear for a costume that is close to 80 years old... a few small holes and picks, couple of cracked (but still functional buttons), a small stain on one pant leg and a few missing pieces of fringe on one sleeve. There are various patched moth bites - 5 photos isn't enough to show off this prize - if you want more images let me know. (FYI - there is a matching Mr. Satterlee suit out there somewhere - it is not mine though.)
