This is a custom made one of a kind vintage repurposed Chimayo FFA jacket in a rare XL large men’s size. Since it is difficult to find true vintage in this style we have tried to design a few special pieces so you can have some sweet vintage looks. This coat is made from a vintage wool blanket from Chimayo, New Mexico in gorgeous red, black, gray and ivory design. The blanket itself is an original 1950s woven piece cut and sewn into a vintage FFA coat. The back is a full center dazzler eye design and the front utilizes the stripes from the same vintage rug. Any repairs or fading were original to the fabric. The collar, sleeves and bottom are taken off of the Future Farmers of America cotton corduroy coat and repurposed as this unique piece, the color is the traditional blue FFA. The original hip buckles and zipper are used and 1 button at each cuff. The coat is unlined - see last photo for inside of the coat. Professionally sewn and 2 square front pockets added in the style of true vintage Chimayo jackets.
